Audubon - "American Robin" - Framed Print

 This is a beautiful Audubon print titled "American Robin".  Plate CXIII.  Engraved Printed & Colored by R. Havell London 1832. Below the title is printed From the Collection of The Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company.

 The print measures 15 1/2" wide x 19 3/4" high. The frame dimensions are - 18 1/2" wide x 22" high.

This is a beautiful Audubon print that was probably taken from a calendar issued by The Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company in the 1940s and 1950s. The colors are rich and vibrant. These prints are very large and are printed on very heavy paper which has darkened with age. There are some numbers written in pen at the right of the print. The frame is in good condition for its age.

Due to the age of the print and the condition, we estimate that this print would bring at auction $50.00 to $100.00.
