Vintage Fred Booty Print - "Mister Bunny"

The complete rhyme is:

"Driving out to see the fair

In their go-cart rich and rare,

Mister Bunny and his wife

Gaily make the most of life.

This is a beautiful old print from the Australian artist and illustrator Fred Booty. Fred Booty (1879-?)  was born in Sydney and moved to Perth during the 1890s. He worked as an illustrator and cartoonist for several publications. He moved to Melbourne in 1906 and became part owner of a lithographic press and produced drawings for the Bulletin and the Gadfly. His postcard work was mainly humorous.

Original wood frame and backing in good condition. There is no staining or foxing, no rips or tears. Signed on bottom - Fred Booty.

 Print size - 6 " wide x 7 1/2" high. Frame size - 8 1/2" wide x 10 1/2" high.

Due to the age, quality, and condition of the print, we estimate that this piece would bring at auction $40.00  to $60.00.
