Set of 2 Signed Color Etchings - "Smoking Girls"

Original Artist Proof. Hand Signed Limited Edition Published in Austria.

These are original artist's proofs taken from the etching plate on which the inking and painting are hand made. These operations are repeated for each proof. The plate was destroyed at the end of the limited edition. The prints are in their original frames with the original backing intact. There is no staining or foxing, no rips or tears to mar the beauty of these prints. The mats are a bit grimy and there is some dirt on the inside of the glass. Hand signed by the artist - Karl Roger? We aren't sure of the last name.

Print image size - 9 3/4" wide x 8 7/8" high. Frame size - 15 5/8" wide x 15 1/2" high.

Due to the age and quality of the print, we estimate that this piece would bring at auction $500.00 to $750.00.
